Description

Drawing from cultural and individual experiences and ephemera, students will examine work that intertwines the personal and the collective through history and myth making. In portions of this generative class, students will siphon their lived experiences through the fantastic. Poetry as invocation, poetry as ritual, poetry as artifact. Poetry as not what you are expecting or what you think you are capable of producing.
