Anjali Singh (The Anjali Singh Agency) founded her agency in 2024. Most recently an agent at Ayesha Pande Literary, she has also worked as an editor at Vintage Books, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Simon + Schuster and as Editorial Director of Other Press. Among the authors she currently represents are Bridgett Davis (Love, Rita; An American Story of Sisterhood, Joy, Loss and Legacy), Susan Abulhawa (bestselling author of Mornings in Jenin and Against the Loveless World, winner of the Palestine Book Award), Nawaaz Ahmed (Radiant Fugitives, a PEN-Faulkner Finalist), C.A. Davids (How to Be A Revolutionary); Scotiabank Giller Prize finalist Padma Viswanathan (The Charterhouse of Padma), Zara Chowdhary (The Lucky Ones) and Praveen Herat (Between This World and the Next), winner of the 2023 Restless Books Immigrant Fiction Prize. She is on the lookout for character-driven fiction or non-fiction works that reflect an engagement with the world around us and graphic novels for all ages.
Anjali Singh’s meetings will be scheduled on Friday 2/21 and Monday 2/24 in the afternoon.
