Gabriel Levinson
Gabriel Levinson straddles the extremes of publishing: by day, he’s a senior production editor for Penguin Random House; by night, he’s the publisher of critically acclaimed indie ANTIBOOKCLUB, touted by Vulture as “the book world’s smallest press.” Gabriel is the founder of Chicago’s Book Bike, a custom-built tricycle filled with books that he gave away in Chicago parks from 2007 to 2012, itself the inspiration for Book Bikes around the world that independently function to this day. Prior to Book Bike, he was the associate editor of MAKE Literary Magazine, where he established and edited the book reviews section. Gabriel is a professor in New York University’s Center for Publishing, and he holds a BA in fiction writing from Columbia College Chicago.
