Taylor Vaughn Lasley

Taylor Vaughn Lasley is an Emmy-winning, Peabody-nominated writer with a long career in film and television. She got her start at Tom Hanks’ Playtone Production Company, then spent years working behind the scenes on major studio pictures before transitioning to a full-time career as a writer. Her television credits include Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Netflix’s Family Reunion, and the historical podcast Unreformed. A graduate of Yale University, she is currently an Assistant Professor in the Television, Radio, and Film Department at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, where she teaches screenwriting and television writing. As she likes to say, she’ll write anything, because she loves telling stories.
